You’ve heard the word metabolism being tossed around, but do you know what it means and why it’s important?  In a nutshell, it’s the rate at which you burn calories and gain or lose weight.  Metabolism has many influences including age, gender, muscle mass and of course your genetics.  Age is something you can’t really control because your metabolism naturally slows down about 4 – 5% every ten years after you turn 40…yikes!  Gender is also something you technically can’t control either (sorry ladies, dudes just burn more calories).  The one thing you can however control is how much lean muscle mass you have.  If you are looking to increase your ability to burn calories more efficiently, here are some supplements to help boost your metabolism.
